Default Decisions, decisions.......

Hi lads,
I am a new member to this forum and have logged on everyday since joinin just to see what is happenin in "scooby world". I have advertised my 00 turbo and as soon as it sells(fingers crossed) i will be putting the money back into a newer car. Regardless of what a few of the very helpful guys on here were advising, i am apprehensive of an import! I would like an sti but is it worth the extra for a ppp? How much should i be paying for an 02/03 model with 15 to 20k on it and is it advisable to buy of a dealer at extra dosh or would i be ok buying private? Any help would be most appreciated....
Thanks,
Dockie.
