Default Lowest mileage classic?

Hi all,

I'd be interested to know how has the lowest mileage classic turbo. I think I bagged a good un in this respect: Genuine 15k. (MY99) Anyone got lower?

Best

I've only been a scooby driver for 2 weeks but I find it (on a motorway) harder to NOT do 100 than do a 100mph. I mean, just putting your foot down a little to make it past a car and I'm doing a ton Feels like I'm only doing 70.

Whats the point in having a car you dont drive ??

Might as well get a taxi and save the depreciation and servicing costs

That's very true Matt.

Mine is v near 16K now after a month! :-)

I don't think I'll rack up anywhere near the average annual milage for a year, as I only use it as a play thing and for weekend travel. Not worried about depreciation; the classics have pretty much already suffered the biggest hit. At the moment it's a case of riding out the: "loads about, some of which are cheap fast cars" stage untill the good one's acheive rarity status. In about 5 years I can see a mint low miler fetching a packet! Not that I'd sell mine anyway!!!! :-)

Best.

When I got my car 6 months ago, fresh from japan, it had just turned 10 years old and had 50k miles on the clock, thats 5000 miles per year. Since then, even though I spent 1 month away, I have put more than 10k miles on it

Unit 1 year ago my MY99 Sti V RA V Ltd had covered just 8,250 miles!!! It had never been out in the rain and was showroom condition!!! Now 1 year on an it has covered 17K (with a recent 1K round trip to Scotland which has done more good than bad as its give it a good clear out). Car is still in pristine condition and is running superb but dares come out in the rain now!

yeh, i have to believe that there are more clocked cars coming from japan than most think. I know its expensive to run a car over there and that there are congestion charges etc and strict mots etc but some of the figures they gives take the ****. A lot of jap cars have paint before they come over to cover accident damage.
I have based my opinion on the many auctions i have been too and the vast amount jap classics i have seen. - and i have one!

I think that you should aim this question to most people who live in Norfolk as their cars never seem to venture far - they all stop at the Norfolk borders for some reason.
