V6 Sti for my97 wrx
Hi guys,
wanted opinions on the ver 6 sti wrc ltd edition...i'm thinking of selling my97wrx which has the following mods,
-Hks headers,full decat exhaust system
-Hks RS induction kit
-Blitz SBC id boost controller
-Defi, boost, ext temp, fuel press, oil temp and water temp gauges
-Hks SSQV BOV
-Tein coilovers
-cusco front and rear strut brace
-samco hoses
-full c-west body kit'
I want to buy the ver6 sti which has been offered to me in exchange for a honda crv, only thing is the sti is pretty much standard apart from 17superleggera's,racing shocks and a rally spec gearbox...do you think it's worth selling my wrx for this.....my wrx has 111000kms on the clock and the sti has 70000kms and seems to be in good nick...let me know...
cheerz.....

[QUOTE=skoobidude]Is it Saloon, Type R or what?
I'd say go for it. Whatever it is it will be newer!
It's a saloon mate, that's what i was thinking it's newer so why not but all the effort that went into the wrx is what's holding me back....
Stickymicky, the car sure as hell did seem faster than mine or maybe that's because i went for a drive with the african rally champion, who's the current owner of the car, i almost wet me pants

Why dont you remove the modifications with a view to putting them on the newer car?
If you still have the standard parts (where applicable), you won't lose as much money this way.

that's what i was thinking nick, only problem is i live in zambia and there's no one here who can carry out a remap? I was thinking of adding the blitz boost controller, hks headers and down pipe plus hks rs induction kit and bov, will these work without a remap? or am i asking for trouble??
