Default WR1 for £40k in the autotrader? is that right

Theres a WR1 on the autotrader website for £40k, i thought they were only around the £30k mark, i might be wrong but £10k over list price thats one hell of a profit for the dealer whos selling it.

Cool

Is this the now legendary WR1+ that IIRC Crossroads garage were selling? A number of upgrades I believe.

You can still pick up a WR1 from a dealer, even though they have hiked the price up to 31.5k for a delivery mileage one.

Crossroads had a WR1 at 'nurburgring' last weekend. I wonder if that was their £40K car that they had over there thrashing around? It had a WRC style spoiler on the back or are they all like that?

If my video link is still working in the gallery section then you can see it on there.

it probably was their wr plus-ap 6 pot brakes ,ohlins suspension, wrc wing and bonnet and prodrive seats -still a lot of money for a gay coloured car although with all the mods you will not see people laughing at you due to the speed you are going at -all imho
martin
ps fiskens in fofar have a wr1 and are open to negotiations

So do all WR1's have the rear WRC style spoiler or not? coz if they dont then im assuming it was this car which was in Germany with the seats stripped out etc........unless they have more of these cars with WRC spoilers of course.

Customer - "I assume it has been run in accordingly?"

Crossroads "Yes sir, we ripped the interior out and thrashed it around the nurburgring for you"

Pug ... they don't come with this spoiler - it's an extra, cost is about £1000 with a proper spray job by Subaru.

Would look much better on a Sonic Blue STI IMHO

Well im assuming it was the one although it might have been the owners personal car I guess, with the seat stripped out to take his track wheels along etc

think one of the managers at crossroads was using it as a personal car. it was there for months on the forecourt with no price in the window. then a couple of weeks ago it was for sale at 39995. it has that hideous spoiler on the back.

It turned up monday morning John .... was parked across three parking spaces in the cafe part of the car park. I spoke to the guys early on and they seemed nice enough. Then I went out on a lap a minute or so behind them and passed them near carousel. When we got back they decided they would kinda give me the cold shoulder so i left them to it. Did try to communicate but they particularly friendly .....

It wasnt too bad this time, Sunday was great with the wet start, that seemed to keep the masses away. Saturday was a nightmare though, the bikers were generally a very poor standard.

I followed a brit biker from Kallenhard to Brunchen can you believe, sat about 10 yards off his pillion. Everytime I thought he has seen me he cut across the line. I started with lights on and indicator, then progressed to lights on full beam, moved onto a quick blast on the horn (hoping not to scare him) and ended up with leaning on the horn all through Wipperman and the next couple of bends. As we went through brunchen he got the message and moved. I swear he though he was 'holding me off' or didnt have a clue I was there. I like to drive using the rule that If it catches me its quicker than me and I get the hell out of its waya dn quickly.

i was held up on purpose by one of the ring "mobile marshalls" at the end of kesselchen. On the climb up to the Karussel he gave me the finger, cheaky sod, then blocked me for the rest of the lap. I had a "word" with him at the end of the lap where he said it wasnt the finger, it was a sign to slow down! yeh right. If your slow get out of the way, its the law you muppet. Good job i am not some hothead who would have knocked him off.
