Default WR1's For Sale !

Just had a quick nosy on the topmarques website and I counted 18 WR1's in total for sale. I know some of them are still new but why does so many people want rid of Subaru's so called flag ship Impreza so soon ?

Interested to hear what people think ?

Cheers !

There were 7 or 8 up for sale last time i looked, which was a week or 2 ago.

I'd guess that a lot may have been ordered by dealers who thought they could use them as demo cars then sell them on for, or over, list price.

I'm more then happy with mine and don't have any plans to change it until '06 or '07 when the all new model is out. Even if i do only see just under 18mpg out of it most weeks!

I'll bet most of the private sales are for more than the owners paid - just wanting a quick profit (no waiting as with dealers)
The Focus RSs seem to still be fetching £19 - £20 at some dealers even over a year old

I know what you mean. I saw an 03 RS Focus today at a Rover garage (of all places! ) up at £18000.

Sorry, as i drove passed the Rover garage, just wanted to clear that up!

A lot of people ordered the WR1 and when it came closer to delivery pulled out because they could no longer afford to buy it. Hence dealers having a lot of cars available.
