Smile running in my 54 wrx sti type uk

running in my 54 wrx sti uk, just done the first 1000 miles without going over the the magical 4000 rpm well only very rarely ! . just wondering wot next plan of attack is to make the car a real goodun? is it run the next 1000 at 4500 rpm then build it up gradually or start building it up now

hey chris fair enough but i thought you only did that to diesel engines or went ploughing with them or something i also want my little baby to last a little, or are you really serious !!!!!!!!!

Na mate, i'm not.

Do a search on here, everyone seems to have their own ideas on the subject though. You have been warned!

I've always upped the limit to 5000 for the next 1-200 miles after the 1000 service then brought it up nearer the limiter after about 1400 miles.
