Default Had my TSL333 MY03 STi on the rolling road today

Well when i say TSL333, its had the re-map, the fuel pump, and the filter. I kept the de-cat of my choice instead of opting for the thunderstorm or whatever its called that they supply.

Had it done about 7 months ago and as i was having the car serviced today I thought i would put it on the rollers.

So thanks to power engineering for the service, thanks for the disk skim and thanks to the guys for being so damned nice and chatty, as always.

So anyone interested in the result?

Well the boys at TSL seem to get a fair amount of stick about the 333 on here, but i have always found them to be the dogs dangles.

The car ran 329 BHP with 315 ib ft torque. The torque figure is slightly down but the power is pretty much bang on the money.

So well done TSL I love the car, it pulls like a train. I was never going to bother putting it on the rollers, but I couldnt resist it. I was already there and they said they would do it for free so there you have it. Power engineering were impressed too.

How much was the TSL pack matey? Was it the full pack you had fitted?
I'm considering having a chat with them for my ever so slightly modded STI8.

Given where TSL get their power figures measured, that is "relatively" a bit more than expected perhaps?
A very nice result.

I am happy with the figures but more importanly im happy with the way the car drives. I guess i just wanted to say that TSL333 cars can make the figures they state. Or there abouts anyway.

power engineering is Uxbridge

I have found that TSL never answer my email enquiries or requests for demo....

despite recommending their services (on the reports I have read) on many occasions

GRIFF007 .... dont bother Mailing them just ring them and speak to Gavin or Paul. They will sort you out for sure. They are notorious for not answering e-mail.

There must be something about 333bhp as mine just produced that on Friday at Abbey with 339 lb/ft torque but that was at the wheels - massive apologies for thread hijacking but it was too spooky not to
