Would like to get tech spec for STI V 2,3,4
I am quite seriously thinking about getting an Impreza in the next 12 months. I've started to do my homework and am rapidly coming to the conclusion that I'm after an STI.
I've done a lot of searching on the web, but cannot really find lots of good info on each model, and the differences between them and that comparative WRX year on year.
There is bound to be a good site out there somewhere, I just need one of you kind soles to point me in the right direction

could try the SIDC faq for starters. have you tried subaru. some of their spec sheets are in PDF but I am not sure that they will go back to earlier STi models.

Alright it's not on the net but, Brian Long's book 'Subaru Impreza' is very good for that sort of thing. It details the changes from one year to the next. Or you can look at the brochures for the different STi models on www.ravensblade-impreza.com

EVO had a top 50 drivers car feature in the summer.... A quote that I remember from the story was "Why would anyone buy an STI when the P1 is still available..." may be worth putting in the mixer?
Oh, and I'm not trying to put the STI down, that was the quote from EVO! No hate mail please!

A P1 is in the mix, but thatstarts to cost more. One downside to the P1 is it is only available in blue....which is great if you like blue, but a bugger if you do not
Being serious, what is the difference in the driving experience between a P1 and an STI. Or is it more down to the fact that the P1 is a "UK" car?
