Default sideskirts

Does anyone know how to remove/ refit the bugeye sideskirts?

i'm wanting to get them colour coded (off the car), also do i ask for Subaru silver or are all model years silvers different?

I believe all the silvers are different i have a 93 gl and my paint code is 262 silver.
there should be a paint code on the engine plate under the bonnet

Dunno abt the bugeye, but removal on my '98 was a series of bolts below, (replaced with stainless roofing bolts), and two clips, one at either end.

Paint code, as above, under bonnet on n/s wing.

Mine were defo NOT bonded, but there was a strip of softer black plastic bonded along the top edge. I carefully removed it, then put it back after having them sprayed.

The early sideskirts were in two bits. There was a piece of softer more flexible plastic between them too, also left black, as was the bit stuck to the rear wheel arch.

If you look under the car at the skirt there are a load of circular clips these undo, You use a scredriver to lever out the middle part which should release the skirt form the body, and it is also attached at the front and i think the rear wheel archeby the same sort of arrangement that you have to undoe with a philips screwdriver. Makesure you get the correct size other wise you will mangle the cheap plastic screw head beyond use. Hope this is of some help.
