CK1 Back In Workshop AGAIN!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a happy chappy....
As most of you know, I had been without my car for over 2 months due to engine failure, and I finally got it back last Thursday.
I have spent the last week running the new engine in, covering 1500 miles. I was due to take it in for a service today.
This morning I received a phone call from a friend in Milton Keynes telling me that my car had 'wee-weed' on his drive.
I ran down to my car, looked underneath, and to my horror found that it was completely covered in gear-oil, 'box, exhaust, the whole thing! A fresh puddle glimmered just to rub it in.
I then looked around the street at all the other places I'd parked my car since it was returned, and sure enough, oil was everywhere. I hadn't noticed as there are a few bangers around and I don't look under my car every day!
I had been driving my car with very little/no oil in the gearbox the whole time, and was noticing a weird noise appearing in 2nd, but thought I was being paranoid.
It is now back at the dealers, and I'm back in a Vectra.
The apparent cause was a broken gasket in the 'box or something. I guess they fitted the last one incorrectly.
I have insisted that a new box be fitted, as there is no way I'm accepting a simple repair seeing as the car has been driven for 1500 miles without oil!!!!
They accepted, and have put the relevant paperwork into IM. I am awaiting their decision.
This will be the third new gearbox fitted in as many months.
Am I just really, really unlucky, or is someone trying to tell me something?
No Scoobynet Day for me on Monday....
Stef.
PS All sympathy welcomed!

John.
I hope to get it back next Weds/Thurs, HOPE being the operative word.
If it's not, well, I don't want to think about it.
Happy.
The thought had crossed my mind.

Hi Stef
You must be gutted, I know how happy you were when we met up with you and you got the call from the garage to say the engine had arrived. Shame you can't make it on Monday but hope you can pop along. Good luck

Stef,
Are you the unluckiest guy around here or what? Hope they get you sorted this week mate.
If you are carless at Silverstone you can take mine out for a spin (not literally !!)

Stef - you must be livid.
If you can bare to be there on Monday without your car, come along - I'll only be watching anyway, as my car isn't run in yet.
Hope the decision from Im is the right one, and it's back on the road in the week.

Jeeeessssuuuus, and I thought cossie parts were expensive. Just as well it's under warranty eh. Not even the cossie lads would wish that on you .
Hope you get it sorted for Silverstone Stef, and let's see if we can get the fabled CK1 along with Mike R's and Harj's motors on the same track session....could be interesting.

Dave.
Mike and I will be in Group C for people running slicks or that are experienced on track (more than 5/6 track days), so Harj will probably not run with us.
If he does, I'm gonna get a 'Abnormal Load' sign made for his car!!!!
