I know the event is going ahead, but what I really want an 'official' answer to is this:

I am not ready to take the Wagon on a track, but I'd still like to soak up the experience, therefore, I'd like to come along and watch, talk, eat, etc.. with the nutters, sorry, enthusiasts, who'll be on the track. So:

Can I just turn up on the day?
What will it cost me?
Where will/ won't I be allowed to go?
What will I need to bring with me, eg; SIDC membership card?

Not official but...
Yes.
Nothing.
Pits, stands, passenger in other cars.
Perhaps small fee for being a passenger (£10)

Stef.

Talking

If no "Official" answer, ring Pete Croney @ Scoobysport, go on chat & look for a committee member on chat.22b.com or ring the contact number (during daylight hours) on your SIDC membership pack

Ok, Puff, If work will let me have the day off I'll be your mechanic, just don't expect me to get dirty

PS - what exactly would being your mechanic entail?

Markus,

You can only be a passenger if the driver hold an ARDS licence.

Is that true?
I know it is at Silverstone, does it apply at Brands too?

Stef, yes it is true, you cannot take passengers on track at Brands unless you are an ARDS registered instructor !
