Dents in my roof!!

Dents in my roof!!
I have just noticed a series of about 5 different dents on the roof of my STI8 which is alloy I believe. I can't understand where they have come from. I did have a roofbox mounted a few weeks ago using Subaru Roofbar kit but I washed the car twice since taking that off and noticed nothing untoward. Parked indoors at night and indoors at work. Any ideas anyone?

Conkers can do an awful lot of damage if you happen to have left under a horsechesnut for a few minutes.
My brothers 206 was ruined in a day He had about thirty dents on the car that were pretty visable.......

Hail?
I saw a report that dent wizzard/master were assigned a huge job somewhere to pull the dents out of 100's of cars at dealers which had been hit by a freak hail storm.
Don't know where, don't know when....but you could have been in the vicinity.
Vaigue as ever aren't I?

Cheers Ron, if it was the missus's legs that were making the dents, I'd be drivin' a cabriolet by now!
I haven't parked under any trees. It goes from my garage to the underground garage at work. It barely gets wet let alone hail stoned!
I am wondering whether the roofbox caused the airflow to be so strong between the bottom of the box and my roof to result in some "stress dents" in the alloy roof. When polishing the roof, it is amazing how soft the panel is. I just can't think of anything else.
Cheers for the suggestions guys.
