stop car park dents
here is the way i stop getting car park dents.
now before i show you this willl look a little weird. but i always try to park on the end so i can only get one car next to me. i live in quite a small town so this is never to much trouble. i dont take car into these type of car park very often so i do not have to do this much. but it works.
we use these bits of foam strips at work for packing and i got a couple of fridge magnets out of a cereal packet. the soft bendy type. and stuck them on to the foam. its drastic and looks foolish but i would rather look foolish to someone i dont know than get my baby dented. i will add i dont use this all the time only when i am going to be away from the car for a long time. always been there when i have come back too
what do you think?

Like kids, you shouldn't wrap ya car in cotton wool, lining it with Foam is a variation of a theme, but I gotta say........... It's a car dude
I'd rather pay £10 to have a dent removed and have white wheels and a scoobydoo on my back windscreen than get out of the car and publicly perform the foam strip ritual

I reckon in Swindon you'd be better off making up a steel frame out of scaffold poles.
Not sure if the foam would stop dents from all the mums driving 4x4's, you know the "my husband works on the production line at Honda so we get a free CRV and everyone thinks we're loaded" type.
Anything's worth a try though i guess...

Oi Chav boy
Do you know they get points for every scratch, dent etc on the car when they take them back. So many points and they are banned from having cars for a time. Reckon Honda employees are probably the most careful parkers in Swindon

great idea, altho we tend to see more dents higher up in the panels caused by the back edge of the rear doors.
Alternatively buy 2 parking tickets & park across 2 bays ! lol
