Default What's it worth?

I'm thinking of selling my Scooby in order to buy a house.

It's a '53 Plate MY03 STi
  • 16,500 miles
  • Full Subaru service history
  • WR Blue
  • Defi BF gauges in centre pod (4 weeks old from recent group buy. Fitted by Scoobyclinic)
  • STi panel filter from recent group buy.
  • Front upper strut brace with pink anodised ends.
  • TSL Firestorm backbox and decat centre section (I have the original exhaust too)
  • Infinity 6000cs front speakers
  • Infinity 4002i rear speakers
  • STi Richbrook tax disk holder (Major selling point )
Anyone give me a rough idea what to ask for it.

Private around £21,000 I would say. A dealer may offer around £18k for it.

Brian

P.S. If you are selling your DEFI's give me a shout!

I'd have thought £20-£21000.

Do you mind me asking how much you paid for Scoobyclinic to fit your Defi gauges? I'm going to buy some and i'm not sure if i'll have time to do them myself.

Can i have 2nd dibs on the guages please!?!

It cost me £188 and takes a full day. They did an excellent job however and they replaced the cup holder with the control unit and still retained the immobiliser LED.

You'll be 2nd on the list if I remove them from the car

17-18k - Warrantee void due to you mods - therefore people might as well go for the *better* JDMs

Also there was an STI08 PPP with 6k on the clock on here for £19k last week

I don't see any warranty-voiding mods. I think you need to change dealer. I had £1000s of warranty work done with a decat centre and backbox, no questions.

SiDHEaD,
TSL Firestorm, STi panel filter

But you're right - get a good dealer

I was under the impression that the STi panel filter didn't affect warranty as it has a Subaru part number??

If this isn't the case then I can always put the standard filter back in as I still have it. The car hasn't been anywhere near a dealership since I put the STi filter in.

I've had a couple of new suspension struts and a fogged up rear light cluster replaced under warranty and my dealer wasn't in the slightest bit bothered about the exhaust.

I'd more than likely return it to stock anyway as I think it could be too loud for a few potential buyers.

Thanks for the valuation though. I'm trying to get as many quotes as possible before I decide on a sale price.

With PPP its worth about 21k private, without abouut 19k.

Its the exact spec I have been looking for actually but the mileage is too high.

Also, there is a car at my local dealer, STI, 53 plate, 20k miles, PPP and its 21999.

Hope that helps.

Thanks

I think I'm going to advertise at about 19k.

I didn't think the mileage was that high on mine. Above average yes but not too high.

Make me an offer if you're still looking for one

Thanks mate.

Do you think that one is PPP??

It's not very clear from the title of it.

Not 100% - I'm 3 months away from buying (but would buy the right one at the right price now (that being the dealer trade in price - 19k))

Very tempted, your implementation looks cool, but I'll wait the 3 months and go for one with a PPP

PS What's the stereo?

I just bought a 03 standard STI with PPP, 5200k on the clock for £21,200.

Is that an '03 plate??

I'd say mine was worth about £18,500 but I'm adding some on because of the Defi gauges being very sought after.
