Default Selling Advice PLEASE

Guys,

You've no doubt seen my car for sale, i've never had to sell a car privately before and to be honest i'm not getting much in it.

What are peoples experiences selling scoobs privately, are they just plain unsellable?

I really dont want some grubby dealer making 2k on my car!

Its been suggested that the problems are:

1). modified
2). people wanting to p/x thier car and hence going to dealers

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...36#post3660236

Its here btw!

Where else have you got it advertised ?

As someone stated on your advert most people on here (not me yet tho) have already got scoobs so you're trying to sell to the converted so to speak.

Have you tried Autotrader, the local rag etc.

btw, the car looks an absolute beauty and there isn't anything wrong with your advert as far as I can see.

Well ive just bought my first scooby after waiting weeks on a decent one to come for sale and I have to say, if I saw yours and you were close to me I would have considered it. Price seems about right however I missed out narrowly on a MY00 with 56k and every PPP extra up here for.....£7.5Kono although saying that ive seen a lesser car for £2k more on same page of the AT.

I think yours is a nice car, priced well with all the desirable mods.....cant see why it wont sell!
