Now when we are back home to Iceland we look back to very enjoyable day we had at TOTB3 at Elvington on August 1st. We would like to thank all who made it possible for us to be there, compete and last not but least meet so many friendly people; organizers, competitors and spectators. Very special thanks to Matt and all the others at Roger Clark Motorsport for the perfect job they have done to the car, to Bob Rawle for excellent mapping and to Harvey Smith for support and advice.
In my mind the car is an interesting project for 2,o ltr. new shape Impreza street car. How far can we go? That´s in the future. Never ending story!
At the moment we have reached 10,85 sec. @ 119 miles on the quarter and 177,1 mile topspeed on 1,25 mile. Unfortunately we were to late for the handling course, but I believe that the car and the driver also has good chance there.
Hopefully we will be able to do more competitions in England in forthcoming months.
The next quartermile races in Iceland are planned August 21st and September 4th.
