Just the usual thing of Subaru classing all grey imports as dubious.....

....which of course they all are

Yes, of course they are. Just ask Iain Litchfield

How exactly does advertising on Auto Trader 'distance' Subaru dealers' stock from 'dubious' cars anyway? Remind me again where all dubious cars with dodgy history end up...

Thumbs down

In my experience you are just as likely to get a dodgy car from IM sanctioned sources as you would be buying an import.

Love the cars but hate the company which runs Subaru in the UK- bunch of t055ers.

''Cars of uncertain history," How can IM prove thier cars have a proven history.

You can clock a Subaru (Any year) in 20 minutes flat with no way of proving otherwise, import or UK car.

All you do is take the mileage back BEFORE it goes in for its regular service and hey presto the computer system and log book PROVE your mileage, what can be easier.

Unless i personally knew the previous owner i wouldnt buy a 2nd hand performance car from anybody let alone a dealer.

Yes there will always be cars with low mileage but all these 7 old year old + cars with 45K genuine mileage is a joke.

450,000 views per month.
You gotta love statistics:-

90% of the 450,000 were found to be kids below 16 drooling over what their first car could be if they won the lottery.

Perhaps if subaru bothered making their UK cars the same or better spec than the JDMs rather than just sticking on an STi badge to make people think it is. And also priced-out the importers, then maybe they would sell more cars
