Angry Beware Of Inferior Products Being Sold Privately On Here

I'm not going to name and shame but i have bought a couple of items from the for sale section of this website in good faith that have been broken.

I hoped, as many people on here do that everyone who is involved in this community are straight up people and not people who are trying to pull a fast one.

Don't look on this post as all bad though,i've bought a couple of other items second hand on here that have been spot on,it's just the people that have sold the dodgy items seem to disappear into thin air (what a suprise).

All i really want to say is be careful what you buy and make sure it's in the condition you expect

Not that it really matter what the condition was but if something doesn't work and is advertised as if it does then it's a bit out of order i think.
Don't take this the wrong way though, most people on here are into there cars and respect other people so they wouldn't sell knackered items, just be careful

i bought some crystal clear side lights and a flamer kit, search threads i've posted on and you'll find the culprits
If you want to name them feel free,i'd rather give them a chance to redeem themselves, although the lack of response from pm's has been a bit disheartening

Sorry to hear that mate.

I have not bought anything from the For sale section yet but do you think it will make a difference if you dont buy from some1 with a low post count?

Should do,thats one thing i never thought of looking at,i think most people are ok on here, it's just a minority that let everyone else down.
I've bought a few other things and they have been spot on,and i have noticed there's some really nice helpful people on here, just be careful

I've bought 3 items from members here, non of them cheap and all 2nd hand.

Been extremely pleased with the items/condition and every aspect of the purchases.

I'm sure most people have had good experiences, just a few tw*ts as usual who give everyone a bad name.

Maybe they are on holiday? They should have mentioned it though save the hassle.

What the hell - go on, name and shame, there is no excuse for keeping someone hanging after hard earned has been coughed up.....

for what its worth ive paid £25 for sumthing which still hasnt arrived, the cash arrived but the seller said he couldnt read my hand written note with my address on it

ive been away for a week so i get home after 7 days scince last contact and find no item has been posted, i sent a PM last friday with my address on it, no reply, i sent yet another pm 2day and still no reply

although acording to scoobynets profiles theres been activity on his acount scince my pm`s were receaved

i am not to concerned at the moment
these things sumtimes take a bit of time, i would have liked a reply tho stating that he had got my address intact

Can I just make it clear so I dont get confused with the one who stole my name that the culprit is Daz_WRX and not just plain old Daz WRX.
Cant really tell the usernames apart as they are underlined but the space between Daz and WRX is slightly longer on Daz_WRX than mine.

Thanks.
Daz.

Again could be on holiday as many others are! do you have a phone number or anything for him?
good luck hope it all works out alright in the end!
I'm not 100% sure but i think this might be the same bloke i bought a front grille off? i ould be wrong but the name rings a bell and it arrived fine and was in excellent condition as was previously stated!
good luck let us know how you get on!
