Default model report for sti 4 type r 1998

is there any available or any other places that do model reports other then modlereports.com. i won one in a jap auction haven't sent cas yet but it was cheap. my brotehr bought it he has his own garage repairs aren't a problem. the car looks standard apart from a induction kit and exhaust i am unable to see anything. i heard if the car is mechanically standard they will do it for free if the model report is not available. and anyone got a model report for this mdoel now. i e-mailed modelreports.com waiting for a reply.

no model report exists for the 2 door car, you cannot ESVA that car, in essence your purchased the wrong car.

but i read that you can get one made and some companies will amke it for free if it is not listed but the car has to be standard. when it comes one of the companies at the docks said they will inspect it for me and tell me looks like i might be in luck. gotta conform when it will arrive at docks.

Try http://www.europeanmodelreports.com/ - they're advertising in the latest issue of Japanese Performance and claim to have reports for the STI 4 and 5. Phone no. is 020 8806 3739.

YOU WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE A FEW THINGS TO PASS THE REPORT. WHEELS, FRONT BUMPER, GEAR **** ,INDUCTION KIT AND EXHAUST? ANYTHING ELSE THAT WAS NOT ON THE CAR WHEN IT LEFT THE FACTORY.

Default sva available

They wont have model reports for 2 door cars.I now am able to pass any car through its sva over here in ireland through a second party. This would mean that a vechicle would have to be brought over here and the test would take about a week to get through. The price includes all work needed for conversion(this is mandatory here)and any parts that might need swapped for test e.g dodgy import speed rated tyres.Almost any make/model can be done all i need to see for prices is a good CLEAR copy of a de-registration certificate and translation,if available. For further info pm me with requirements.

ps ver 4 ring me tonight if you havent already mate.p

Was offered a 1999 STi 5 Type R (2 door) a couple of weeks ago from a garage.

List price was to be £12995, but as it couldn't be SVA'd as no model reports are available. Therefore couldn't be registered for the road.
He only wanted £7995 to clear his feet.

I think that the Ministry can advise as to whether there is a report available as they hold them all. Im sure that I read this in an ESVA paper or on the Ministry's web site but I cant be certain. BIMTA have a list of members who will rent comparison reports too.
