Non Turbo 2.0 Wagon
Hello Folks,
The missus is tired of her Terrano and I was thinking she might like a Scooby Wagon.
She likes 4WD, sometimes pulls a horse and trailer and always complains about fuel consumption (a woman thing).
What to look out for ?
Is it up to the job ?

No too much pulling power in non turbo wagon, also fuel consumption is gonna be cr*p if your towing a trailer, suggest you buy her a C5 .... ok it won't pull a trailer but the savings from not using petrol should mean you could afford a cart for the horse

Take a look at www.imprezasport.net and get a slightly less biased view.
But will reitterate the fuel consumption of a non turbo impreza is not great, but if you try you can get about 34mpg out of it...

weight issues as well mate.
Horse + Trailer = More than Scooby wagon = Not safe
Police were clamping down on this a while ago, so check kerb weight/ trailer weight/horse weight, before going any further.
Plus I used to own a 2.7TD Terrano...... Much better towing vehicle than a subaru wagon... Plus fuel consumption would be the same, if not better when towing.
