The CRD 'mishap' could of been sooo much worse
We saw the hole thing and he was very lucky not to flip. When the front wheel dug in, the rear jumped about 4-ft in the air as the car did a 180 and then landed on the fence! (never mind TOTB, they should enter the Grand National with though's fence jumping qualities ).
I'm sure it looked far worse then what it was and i was very glad that i saw him running later on. That is one extremely impressive car.
Well done ANDYF though, all the scoobs that I saw run did the scoob enthusiasts proud

An R32 Skyline won the quarter (RR 2nd), but I didn't catch the drivers name (it wasn't Keith Cowie) and I think an EVO won the handling event. The top speed was either the same R32 Skyline or the CRD Supra. Lots of awesome cars and plenty to see, but crap information postings and facilities for spectators.
Nobody really knew what was going on with the results, even though we were there all day !!
A fund day though, and the sun came out eventually !

From 22b.com
Andy F. 10.76
Halldor 10.85
CRD 11.04
Paul (Pavlo) 11.17
Dave Wallis 11.63
Alan McCrae 12.06
And I believe RC developments hit a 10.32 but Simon Norris didn't turn up...(?)

And to the blue Impreza Turbo heading south East from Elvington on the back roads - cheers for the good run I was in the blue Boxster behind you. Good to see ya slowing down for the villages as well fella.

Top speeds and my comments
The Supra ran a 201.43? while we were still there. Up to that point the fastest was 188 by one of the porkers (which we witnessed at the top speed viewing area).
Agree with the points about poor organisation, crap value for 20 quid per person
Good points:
The cars!
My fave of the day was the white scoob with no stickers, running 15?? inch wheels, sounded like it had antilag or summat real street sleeper
Bad points:
Huge queue to get in, bet the police weren't impressed...
Lack of info as to what was going on, 20 quid each and no program???
Litter!!! OMG! Worst for any car show I've been to, provide more bins!! even saw abandoned bbq's etc
Poor parking by 'Chav's' meaning access to/from carpark became a nightmare.
