What's my R reg Sport worth aprox?
I'm going to try and sell the missis Sport to pay for the remap and pay off some bills, we're not using it at all so it may as well be turned back in to some cash.
I know the reputation of people expecting cars mega cheap on here (!) but what could I realisticly ask for this:

R reg 97 Sport
16" alloys with uprated brakes, Pirelli PZero tyres (about 5k old), WR Sport exhaust, big spoiler, colour coded side skirts (?), sun roof, electric windows, colour coded gear **** (!). In fair to good condition with 118k on the clock, serviced only 2 months ago (done less than a 1,000 since), tax until Oct and Mot the same. If it had the 'correct' bonnet it would pass for a turbo - until it wheezed past you that is! It drives very well, is fun but not a turbo!!!
I really don't know what to expect so wondered if any experts here could help!
Cheers!
Mike

Cheers Dan and thanks to you and Notorious for the price guide.
This is the first time I've ever had a car to sell but not p/x so any tips for best place to sell this kind of car? I thought that for a newer driver without the NCB it may be an attractive way to get on to the Impreza ladder so was thinking about the local paper....
Cheers!

Sports are really hard to shift at the moment.
I know a 99 S-plate wagon (Phase 2 engine/facelift bumper) with 24000 on the clock sold for only £4200 the other day, so you are going to be looking at the low £3K's
Stick an add on www.imprezasport.net you may well get some intrest.
Yes the insurance on a sport is cheaper than a turbo, but in comparison to other cars it is not cheap, and any mods push the insurance right up.
