Default Chassis enhancement/handling packages.

Anyone had one done on their Uk classic, like the one offered by TSL?
Their phase five package offers Eibach pro kit springs, powerflex rear anti roll bar Drop links, front and rear strut braces and geometry.
Is it worth the money.....does it make a noticible difference to handling on the roads?

Comments greatly appreciated.

Nice guys, they only re-aligned the geometry on my 03WRX which improved handling from standard.

Not had it done by TSL, but just had eibach springs fitted and geometry done as per prodrive settings. Always thought standard handling was good and didnt expect much improvement, but boy was I wrong. I am still amazed at how well it handles, I no longer have to slow down on my approach to roundabouts!! Well worth the money, do it, you wont regret it. I also changed to 18s from 17s which also helped.

The biggest difference on a classic is to get the bump steer removed by Powerstation as well as the full geometry set-up, and then to fit the solid roll bar links instead of the bendy plastic ones. My MY94 STi was "chalk and cheese" after that was done.

MY94 Uk, All below Diy, Except Geometry.

Apexi coilovers fitted, Tremedous difference in handling but a little harsh on rough surface
Top front strut brace, Another big diff felt, car cornered more flat.
Lower 4 point front brace. Wow, felt like being on rails.
Solid drop links front & rear, Yep made the car feel even more taught.
Upper rear brace, Tightend the back end & reduced understeer sligtly.
Geometry setup, Best 90 quid spent pulled all the above together & now goes round corners at warp speed.
Uprated adjustable rear anti roll bar, Go get one fantastic, set at middle hole , Understeer does not exist, another must for 90 quid

Have done mine the DIY route too on my MY00:
1st Powerflex droplinks - was amazed at how much better the car stuck to line through tight corners - much less understeer than standard.
2nd Rear adjustable ARB - another amazing difference, car is so much flatter and you almost find yourself turning the wheel too much / too early to begin with as you are used to the old understeer handling.
I think these two changes are a must - for the money the difference is amazing.

Now - just waiting for my front upper strut to arrive and will also be going to Powerstation for bumpsteer and 4 wheel alignment.
Just not sure whether to get the Eibachs before then or not... Need to feel the difference on a test car as the MY00 is fairly stiff anyway...
