I dont normal do this but its was that funny just got to do it,will keep it short

on the bypass near where i live, just driving a steady 60mph, theres about 6 sets of traffic lights on the road, with in 3 miles, no cars about very quiet the next thing theres a car right up my 4rse, get to the first set of lights he pulls along side me his passenger puts the window down shouts out nice car m8,i say thanks, and he says is it fast,i say ISH, we set off hes wheel spinning,i just chug off nice and stead ,its a clio sport with the twin exhausts, get to the next set and they are laughing and clapping his passenger now says ,i thought it was fast, say again ISH,same again wheel spin and i just set of nice and steady AGAIN,next set of lights his passenger says it cannt even over take a clio by this time iam pmsl, time to put him in his place anti lag on revs up to 3/4k rpm clutch biting lights go to green and bye bye clio,(people at the scooby shoot out will have seen me launch my 22B),get to the next set of lights i slow down to get them on red they pull up along side me no more shouting and cheering from in side there car i was going to throw them some tissues to dry there eyes.this time when he sets off no wheel spin lol and he went on his marry way sulking.

got to say these clio sports are not slow very very nippy car

it might not sound that funny but it was to me at the time lol

I had a similar thing happen to me when I had my GTi-R. I was giving 2 mates a lift home, so was just cruising along. We pull up at a set of lights, and a very tidy Lancia Delta Evo pulls alongside us. We both had our windows down, so I turned across to him to get an idea as to whether he wanted to play...... he actually turned his nose up at my car and sneered at us! So now I am worried about what he has to be so smug about, but equally do not want to get shown up in front of my mates (plus, my car was running about 250bhp - so thought I had a chance whatever). Lights change, I floor it.... and I beat him to the next lights (his therefore probably standard 220bhp or whatever they are, because he was trying his best).

The next bit was my favourite. He was looking physically agitated at being beaten (probably thought he had the fastest car on the roads , but he has to pull up behind me at the next set of lights because there is a car in the other lane. So what do I do when the lights change? .... crawl away (as if to say "I have beaten you, I do not need to do it again!"). That wound him up more than anything!! I then just pulled in and let him pass me (point proven).

Nothing is more satisfying to me than showing someone up that doesn't even have the decency (or knowledge) to appreciate other cars. I personally will always chat with anyone at traffic lights if they want a little play, whatever they are in... I did it with a VTS the other day - and I think he appreciated the fact that I didn't look down on him (we all have to start somewhere - which for me was an Uno Turbo!!)
