Default MY03 model subaru suitable for toddler playtime

Looking for a model car (either die cast or up to around the size of the transformer subaru) that my 3 year old can play with. Needs to be MY03 like my car, but I can't find any.

Don't mind it being *slightly* expensive if it means he'll stop half transforming the other one and making me put it back together (after half an hour)

Also, any MY03 radio controlled cars out there yet? ready to run simply jobs for me and my son to play with?

I also managed to buy one for a couple of quid at Tesco

most toyshops have RC Imprezas for sale - Argos certainly does

thanks for the link, I'll check it out.

Yep, argos etc always have imprezas, but at the moment they all seem to be bugeyes, and haven't updated to the current shape, which is the one I want.

Advert in Autosport has got a picture of an 03 rally car for £23 - www.specialstages.com.

Don't know if it's child-friendly, though.

think they might have been using the pick just to draw people in. that site only has a 1:43 die cast for £27(!). No radio controlled, just 2001/2 as with most other places.

Considering they won the drivers championship last year, and the cars been out for a while now, I'm really surprised they haven't updated the models.

I don't want to say what my son says when he sees a bugeye. Suffice to say they listen too much, and I quite like them now ;P
