Default STi logo on TMIC

Is there some kind of template for anyone wanting to put the sti logo on a top mount or mesh,or is it simply a case of being a bit of an artist?

Just save the logo as a jpeg/bitmap, enlarge it to A4 size and print it off.

Cut the letters out and spray the template.

Daren,

If you spray a template you will probably find the paint gets down between the IC fins - resulting in a pink f**k up unless viewed from directly above

If you can get the paint onto a flat tray, I have a small etching roller which you can borrow if you want?? You then should only apply paint to the top surface of the fins I will dig it out for the Hants meet next week.

Cheers
Steve

Why not use a template and a dryish roller? There's no rule that says you have to spray it. Also hold the IC upside down if you can so that the drips fall off rather than running down between the fins.

If you spray it properly, the paint won't run between the fins, just as you would not expect the paint to run if you were spraying a normal panel.

Apply a light haze of paint and repeat, building up coats until you have a nice deep finish.

Each coat should be "tacky" and not runny.
