Question Sussing out your car...help?

OK all

having followed the various helpful links from you all I am getting nearer to finding out exactly what I own. Here's my problem. From the codes it seems that my car is:

MY95: 09/94 – 08/95

WRX type RA

model code: GC8C47D

engine: EJ20G DW4HJ

transmission: TY752VB3EA

However, there are some things not quite right...Firstly it has no roof vent, second it has the i/c spray plus air con. Now presumably these things could have been options? I thought the i/c spray was a giveaway sign to an STi version? Are the engine codes right? Is my car some kind of hybrid?!

I could be wrong, but I think on the RA you could have air con as a dealer fitted option, but as standard it didn't come with the car (most people having gone to the effort of buying the light weight version didn't buy the aircon)

Cheers James

Yeah I reckon on this too - seems strange to buy the lightest stripped out machine then spec it up? The one that's really got me is the i/c spray as I thought this was only an STi goodie and not an option. Until I checked the engine code I was convinced it was an STi RA.

Anyone other dreams about mid-90s jap import specs?!
