SPEC 'C' DIFFERENCES!
Time for a change so back to scoobies it is after not being too impressed with the tvr. looking at spec 'c' differences etc as just seen there are two versions. anyone looked at both versions? are the differences huge? i know the wheels and brakes are different and seats but other than that is there anything else? being a scooby freak i will most likely change wheels, brakes etc anyway so they offer no difference to me really.if i get half hour i will call litchfields to have a chat but no time yet!

Steve ... give old Ian Litchfied a call. I spoke to him at the Autosport for ages re: WR1 vrs Type 25 vrs Spec C - always willing to give you a test drive and tells you straight with no messing around.
If I was going to go for a Spec C, I would go for the stripped out version mate - you've had the TVR for a while now so luxurys you are used to doing without!

mr litchfield words were 16" version is pure rally bred! c*ap seats, brakes and steel wheels and no auto on the dccd! altho on that note makes it stand out me to me as the brakes and wheels can be changed and leave as a real raw edge car! things are defo lookin as if i will go that way!
so on that note, anyone want to buy a tvr tuscan????????????? 390bhp rwd

Out of interest, why were you not impressed with the Tuscan? Look at buying one recently because everywhere had sold out of 350C's , but never got round to the test drive. I just love the way they look.

well yeah but im kinda used to how it reacts so dont really do throttle around roundabouts even in the dry! as for when it wet you shouldnt even WOT when in a straight line as a few ppl from the brighton run will agree with!

that's about the only time ive ever REALLY REALLY thought this is it i'm screwed now.............luckily the roundabout was 2 lanes wide and there wasn't much traffic about.... the council workers in the middle of it did applaud me though so as you do I smiled wave and drove off......smelling of something unmentionable but smiling all the same..

is it not predictable when it oversteers then?
I'm looking to go back to rwd as I find 4wd too boring.
No I'm not being a hero before anyone makes any sarcy comments. As anyone who comes in the car with me will say, its become like playing a computer game, and I worry I will become complacent and then it bite me back when I least expect it.

his tuscan is crazy in the dry ... spun up in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th when I was in it with him. The heat was unbelievable as well. Although I also had the moment of madness and nearly bought one - just for the looks alone!!
Crazy brutal mentally unpredictable and f.in fast motor!!
Spec C it all the way mate ... just so I can take it out and see what being 25 and being able to get insured on a spec c will be like!!

When I replace the Sti late next year it will be a spec c
Just HAS to be done!
My STi is from Lichfields, and no doubt I'll be using him again.
I'll be going for the Spec C Ltd £27,995 OTR including CAT1 Alarm, RAC Trackstar and UK fuel ECU remap
