It was inspired by an English song called "Run Rabbit Run" by the Englsh folk duo, Chas & Dave. One fine morning two STi engineers heard this obscure song on a Japanese radio station and, enthused by its brilliance, were inspired to create a new rabbit logo.
. . . any other ideas?

Minor threat:
Run Rabbit Run was written by Butler and Noel Gay and famously sung by Bud Flanagan (Dads Army theme fame) and Chesney Allen during WW2. Covered by Chas and Dave in 2001 on their Street Party album (only 1 minute long, cf. 2:47).
Regards,
John

I'm getting worried now, the tortoise beat the hare last time around.
History could repeat as the STi fills up for fuel again, and again, and again, and the Justy pootles along doing an economical 56mph
