Stupid question time.

93 WRX does it have a Rev Limiter as standard ??

If so when does it cut in ???
If not can anyone suggest a good one ???

Yes,

all Imprezas have rev limiters.

Would normally be within 250rpm above the red line when it cuts in, however some after market ECUs can remove this restriction.

John,

do u know what aftermarket ECUs remove this limiter. I have recently had a Unichip fitted but nothing was mentiond about this. I would feel safer if the limiter was still intact...not that I ever reach the redline! I'm just worried about the wife!!

If you do remove or increase the rev limiter what is a save spot on a MY95 WRX as i previously had a moddified 19 16v which the limit was up by 1000 rpm (Done by Prima Racing) with no probs not that i went there often you understand
