Thumbs up

Following some more negotiations, I've managed to get SIDC members a 20% discount off the price of the Cult Car Tours holiday in Thailand.

Sounds excellent

Just looking for a 'window in my schedule'

How about a group booking?

Late January, or early March sounds good to me, as February has already been fully booked. The organiser have said that if there is enough interest from SIDC members, than we can have a number of "exclusive" weeks, which sounds good to me.

Cool

I'm going to be in Chiang Mai, Thailand in about 10 days time. I don't have time to book a full weeks driving but I'll maybe make contact with the guys as the Hotel they feature won't be far from where I'm staying. I'll let you know if I find out any further details - I've got an STi anyway but I fancy the EVO for a day, they might entertain this if no one else has it booked.

John ..

How long do you actually spend behind the wheel and how many miles will you expect to drive ( the more the better obviously )?

Kev,

I think the driving part is in the region of 5 to 8 hours per day, depending on how fast you want drive, but I'll find out. It will vary from day to day depending on the routes taken.

John ..

Not your usual "driving" holiday then, heard of a few people that went on one to Africa a few years back on a "4x4 safari/holiday" only to drive about 10 miles a day on tarmac roads to differnt touristy type places ...... not quite what they had in mind .....

Looks good though, just have to convince 'er indoors that it's not a "jolly boys outing" and it's worth every penny .... that will be the hard bit ...

top question has to be ..... the price quoted on the booking form is for 1 car ..... does that mean 2 people for the price quoted, can't include flights surely ??

K

Kev - replies by e-mail earlier.

Kevin - they are not yet operational (Oct/Nov this year), but I'm sure Ralph would be delighted to hear from you, and your thoughts on the area, and some of the roads
