Default Accumate charger

You need one of these. Just connect it up whenever you leave your car for more than a couple of days. This is one of the best and safest you can get

PS. The UK STIs also start much better after being on this which will be nice for the winter, I'm sure all of you who have sat there turning it over and over will agree.....

Mine went in again last Friday after the battery went completely flat while I was on hols. I got a call from a neighbour who said the car alarm was going off and they couldn't figure out how to stop it. I guess the voltage drop must have set it off. Anyway this is an on-going saga with my car and Graham/David at Bulldog in Twyford reckon it could be the Tracker not going into sleep mode. Apparently after a few hours the Tracker unit should put itself into this low current draw sleep mode to preserve battery life. Bulldog kept the car in overnight and the current draw on the Tracker unit was the same as when it was first armed. They are going to get a technician from Trackstar down to check it out in the next week or so.

Dunno if this is a common fault with Trackers but I've hard BMWs and Mercs also suffer from this.
