STi with a 140-watt premium stereo
An AM/FM 140-watt premium stereo with six-disc in-dash CD changer and six upgraded speakers in the WRX STi.
I thought that in this kind of car you will hear the engine roar.
Or am I wrong?

I can pretty much guarantee that any after market unit will be better.
Also, I guess that that is stateside only?
I have no problems whatsoever drowning out engine/road noise with my stereo: just a component set in the front, a single 12" sub, and a single amp running it all.

I'd be more interested in the "power steering oil cooler and... new helical limited slip front differential" quoted in the press statement.
