1000 mile first service
Just out of interest, what is the earliest you can have the first service and is it just an oil change. My wagon was 3 months old when I bought it, but my next Subaru will be new again. Can you take one in with just over 800 miles or would you wait for 1100 miles?

I'm sure the dealer wouldnt argue with a few miles difference both sides of 1000... I'm trying to get mine to 1000 as soon as possible too

I bought a demonstrator and mine was given the 1000 miles service at around 130 miles - 
Dealer said no probs as long as it was run a bit and the oil was changed to decent stuff.
