Are WRX's available in the new WR1 Ice Blue?
Either they are, or i'm seeing things.
Just followed one home, thought it was a WR1 at first and got all excited, then noticed it had twin zorsts, no STI badge, WRX spoiler, and standard WRX anthracite alloys.
I thought this colour was going to be exclusive to the WR1???????

Same thing happened to me last night.. driving along & stopped at the lights when I saw what appeared to be a WR1 facing me at the other set of lights... I was 100% sure it was a WR1 until it turned right & then I noticed it had the WRX spoiler and standard wheels..

maybe it was the prodrive lads steaming around in customers wr1's before the ppp and wheel them, of course the speedo's would be disconnected as they wouldn't want to attract any undue attention.
who said that consipracy theories were dead and buried (im sure elvis isnt but thats another story)

Car Imports Direct in Bristol did have what looked like a WR1 in Ice Metalic Blue. It was a Solberg Edition of the STi which does not include the 18" alloys, PPP or Prodrive lowered springs. I think this version is only available in the EU (not in UK though), although I think there are some going to South Africa.
Try their web site, although I think it may have been removed now as the car has been sold. Was reasonably priced a £22,995 including three year Subaru warranty.
