to be honest crims would target the FTO just as much as the scoob

If thats the only reason your selling your scoob then i think you should reconsider, else buy a metro or something.

A GR is 180 PS - about 177 bhp - not 197 bhp...

A GPX (Mivec) is 200 PS - about 197 bhp - though isn't a GR.... Hmmmmm.....

Generally better than the Scoob for attracting the "wrong" attention. Difficult to do a "job" in an FTO. Not enough room for the hooded mates / swag...

The GR is often as quick as the GPX, though the GPX makes a better noise (especially >5.5KRPM with an ITG filter). GR can be quite ecconomical on fuel in normal driving, GPX is little better than a standard Scoob if driven hard (though with a very light throttle can be quite good).

Check out the FTO Group on Smartgroups for more - or the FTO Owners Club. There's mucho info out there.

Enjoy

I was thinking more on the lines that FTO's are not in the top 10 stolen cars in the country though

Dave,

Very true statement - the FTO is not exactly a rep-mobile!!! Still VERY noticeable alongside Focus', Mondeo's etc.

Just as liable for theft.
