Judging by the number of dents in mine from careless door opening by those who park next to me (and it's only been on the road for 5 months)..... I'm going to guess at a fairly light grade of tinfoil, although butter is another possibility

now that is a bloody good question and i'd love to know the answer as i seem to get a new dent everyday......not just little dent's proper dent's like someone's hit it with a hammer!!!!! it's driving me mad!!!!!

If you look closely at the stone chips in the doors, can you confirm that there is something behind the paint ?? And I mean something a bit more structural than primer !!!!!
