Default £336.17 for a MAF sensor !!!!

I've just been quoted £336.17 for a replacement MAF sensor on an MY01 & £250 for a replacement front lambda sensor - Can this be right!?

Anyone know where I can get one for sensible money?

"THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX QUID !!" - and I don't even know for sure that it will cure the problem.

Come on Subaru - Get with the program here!!

£336! Jesus H Corbett!

For my MY00 the MAF was 73 and the lambda was 120.

I'd phone another dealer mate, although the lambda sensor on mine was a bosch part so you may be able to get hold of one elsewhere for less.

Zippy was selling one for £60

Do a search in for sale.

Or maybe he will reply if reading, he may have sold it though.

They are expensive because they apparentely come with an airbox, and because Subaru spares depots are robbing *****.

Rang them back and mentioned that but they said "not on that model" you have to buy the whole assembly.

Anyone else ordered just the MAF sensor for the MY01 and where from?

Think you'll find from previous posts you can only buy the sensor part FOR THE 99/00. All the other MAF's are a complete system encased in the housing. I also read on here whilst many Subaru "body parts" have decreased by upto 56 %, the crafty buggers have raised all other parts prices. I have heard of a few people doing cheaper MAF's etc.....
