What On Earth??!!!
Seat Leon CupraR
Just made my Impreza look VERY ordinary today!!
He could ACTUALLY pull away from me!!
Now, those Seats cost about £13k or something!!
The Impreza is not king anymore is it?? please tell me it was a just a nightmare!

dont know what Impreza you have but my neighbour has a CupraR and he was amazed by the power and performance of my impreza (MY03 STi PPP with a couple of handling mods)

These can be chipped easily to get plenty more power - with 2 wheel drive and more power then it's no surprise (on a dry straight road) against a standard WRX.

A mate of mine who lives abroad has something called a Seat Ibiza Evolution III or something.
I kid you not it is a 1.9 turbo charged diesel and it is quick as ****. Quite highpowered, loads of torque. Two wheel drive and lighter.
Adds up to being almost as quick in a straight line.

I read an article in a mag and they had a 1.9tdi that had been modded, on the dyno
239 bhp at something like 3000rpm
349 ft lbs at 1800 rpm
0-62 5.6 seconds
deep ****!

He would have pi55ed himself laughing if he had seen it was an Import, with Gold Wheels I guess??
The only saving grace was that mine looked, and was, standard - imagine the humiliation if I had filled up with SUPER and put Octane Booster!! I can only hope his was 'warmed-over' somehow!
How can one of those PULL away!!?? Uphill too!! AND out handle me on a roundabout!
