I seem to remember mine being about £450 I had new front disks and pads on top of that service

Might be better now with their recent parts price cut.

Just paid £635 for the 60,000 mile service - that included an MOT and Pedal Rubbers.

Oil Filters are now £4:50! WOW!

Servicing a Classic shouldn't be too expensive anymore - SUBARU have woken up to the fact that Motor Factors were selling parts for these cars at a 1/10th of Subarus prices!

They need to drop the Front Pad prices though - they are STILL £120 a set! They need to be about £60 to compete

I remeber reading the price will be different for the year of the car cuz the MY99 needs a cambelt change at 45000 miles where the My00 changes the cambelt at 60000miles. or am i talking b0ll0x?

Certainly, the MY00 needs cambelt at 60,000miles (not sure when this came in, however)

Because they ARE great cars!

Mine has cost me a fortune in servicing and depreciation - but I reckon, all in all its been worth it! (JUST!)

I would hate to think how much others who REALLY spend on their cars are chucking away!!

Depends where you are & where you go!

Dunno what the price at a main dealer would be but I got my 45K done, including cambelt for £320 & my 60K for £243. Neither were at a main dealer but at Subaru Specialists recommended to me on here. They were both before the supposed 'price reductions'.

Thanks for the replies.

T2000uk, could you let me know where your service was carried out, either on here or pm ?

I'm in the East Midlands but don't mind travelling for GOOD servicing!
