Default scratches from garage door

OK so my dads been back from his holiday for all of 1 hour and he opened the garage door without checking that my car was infront of it, "I may have touched your car" he says.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so now im left with numerous small vertical stratches that i can see through the paint on both drivers side doors, is this going to be a respray for both doors? scratches are about 1 - 2 inch long.

Any ideas on costs etc?

Photos would be good! I assume you have attemted polishing them out?
I dare say - by the sound of it, a Chipsaway type company will be able to perform an invisible repair for under £100.

I had a neighbor who damaged my car when he fell of a ladder. I claimed on his house insurance. I got the car repaired and he did not have to pay any extra, you could try this

Ah but it needs to be a neighbour causing the damage, can't claim off your own/fathers house insurance for damage to your own property if you live at that address I believe.

As an example, roof tile falls from your house onto your car-can't claim.
Roof tile falls off your house and hits neighbours car-they can claim off you.

Hope that makes sence.
