Who's got a JDM STi 03/04 twin scroll model?
Just as a matter of interest.....
Who's got a JDM STi twin scroll model, trying to gauge how many/popular they are with enthusiasts.
Did you try a UK STi first? I did and after going in Bob Rawles I had to have the JDM version.
From memory
Me
Bob Rawle
Tony Burns
Scoobytal
Problemchild75
Misha
Russel Hayward
There must be more.....?

He's an independant and very highly respected tuner of imprezas, Evos and others. His speciality is remapping ECUs, but he is very knowledgeable about all things mechanical and is always friendly and helpful.

JDM STI '03
I did try the Type UK PPP and was going to buy one until I tried the JDM version. The JDM lacks the throbby exhaust note, but makes up for it in other ways (DCCD-A, quick steering rack, better power delivery, no significant understeer, spiffy instruments, RE070s, rear wash/wipe and better tuning potential, I gather). All IMO, of course.
Good as standard.
Much better following the application of Mr Rawles' mapping skills, and pretty civilised
Currently awaiting remap after Janspeed 3" & induction kit (light right foot necessary at present!). No longer civilised, but I can't wait for the benefits!
