Default WR1 Number 125

..............I've got WR1 number 125 (I actually have it in my possession)

Have I got the highest number allocated so far??

..........................and why was it delivered so early?? (I'm not complaining about this)

Is the number just randomly allocated??

...........it's very odd!!

Just spoke to my dealer again this morning, my car has been reg'd yeasterday and the doc's sent to IM, what happens next appart from a fraught wait for the car to turn up.

I see from some posts refrence to a document pack from IM, Does this come direct or via the dealer and what does it comprise of.

Can any one advise

Once the car is registered, taxed and insured IM should send you a pack which contains the tax disc holder, keyring and service book which is unique to your car. You will the need to speak with your dealer for a delivery date.

Trust me, I've now had my car for 2 days and it's the best thing ever.
I got number 97.

There's a 10 day turnaround from when it's Reg and taxed.

The running in is a bitch, 4000rpm for the first 1000miles.

Ice Man, got your PM. bet your like a little boy at Xmas and Bday all rolled in to one.
You'll love it.

I'm going to get an Origin B2 I am also going to upgrade the speakers and have the Clarion head unit and changer which I took out of my STI fitted. Not sure about an LRC 100 at the moment I may need to twist the wifes arm a bit more. Let me know what you think of them.

Origin B2 is a GPS based fixed speed trap detector, with built in laser detection (and an option for radar).

I hope you guys are gonna look after these WR1s, as I intend on buying one in a couple of years...!

I paid my deposit 3 weeks ago and got the reg. number a couple of days later and was told the car would be about 3 weeks, that was 2 weeks ago, with Town & County, Aberdeen.
I phoned my insurance [Norwich Onion] and spoke to a very nice lady in Bombay I think and she said there would be no more to pay [currently insure STI7 with 6 months to run on the policy] I was quite surprised.
