Dangerous Brian
Brian one of the Elite Group 4 security guards at our factory managed to put the barrier down on the top of my car yesterday.... I am so glad it was only the corsa.
4.30 the day shift go home every day, first bloke pulls up to the gate (me behind him) toots the horn, our hero quick as a speeding slug opens the gate for him, but alas even quicker puts it down again when I'm under it. The barrier hits the car and I jump out and go over to our intrepid hero's sanger. (Hes just locked the door) I talk to him quite loudly through the hatch about the state of my car and ask if his eyes are painted on etc, invite him out to survey the damage. He wont come out. I go back to inspect the new modifications to the paint work on the A pillar and drivers wing. Ask our man to come out again. This time he obliges, I ask him why he closed the barrier, there are by now about 15 cars trying to get out. Dangerous Brian said as he is guarding the place from all sorts of undisariables it is his sworn duty to protect life and limb and he must close the barrier after EVERY car as someone told him. I turn around and our hero disapears into the bunker to take position once again.
I move the car and go and get an accident report filled in. Dangerous is now busy opening and closeing the barrier between cars.
His bosses came in to see me this morning. Dangerous Brian didn't make it in. They seemed to think that with the threat that our hero has to put up with these things can happen and I shouldn't be to hard on him! I agreeded that if your eyes were painted on and the wee mouse that works the wheel in your head was off that day then they could very well happen.
If this bloke had 2 brain cells he would be twice as stupid.
The other 2 lads are ok, well 1 walks about 2 hours home some nights, we have busses and trains in this country.....
Still it could have been worse, if I was in the scooby I dont think I would have had a job to come to today.

His boss is comming in tomorrow to take his statement. I wouldn't mind reading it.
"I didn't see the car and lowered the barrier" i.e. he didn't look... OR
"I saw the car and lowered the barrier" which would be worse
