Lean or rich (mpg)
I get on average 240/250 to a tank running about 120miles daily round trip up the a3.
thats from a full tank of optimax (about £40).
I also get an inch thick rim of soot around the exhaust silencer.
for a (99) car that supposedly reads fuel and adjusts how can the varying mpg's be so wildly different?
(comparison is a sti4 typeR with a smaller tank getting about 40 miles a tank more than me )

Andy..
i get roughly the same from my n/a wagon... approx 23 miles one way...
260-280 ish.... 300 if im under the empty and have a can in the boot...
if my memory serves me correctly... isnt your rout a lot of stop starts!!!!
best way to check your mix,,, a good 5-10 mile run at mway speed...
pull over and whip out a plug... look at the colour and use that as a guide..
should be a light brown with a few deposits..
