Can someone ID this ecu please?
Hi, these are the numbers:-
22611 AE801
A18-000 DIE 9512
The guy seemed to think it was form an STI, I have a UK MY00 with the 802 ecu and understand the STI ecu doesnt work in my car however Im a little confused by all the different ecu's.
Does the STI come with a variant of the 801 as well then?
Any guidance would be appreciated

its the brown "E3" sticker?
Is this definitely not an STI then?
I figured they'd have completely different codes as the ecu uses more sensors..

STI (and MY99/00 PPP) ECU's have pink STi stickers on them, and aren't AE80x units. Think STi5 ECU is something like an AF531, so no, definitely not an STi ECU.
What you have there (assuming it hasn't been EcuTeKed) is, as SWS says, a standard MY99 AE801, so slightly better than the 802 you currently have in your car.
