Angry Lost my beep

Oh no, just noticed on the way home that my STi 03 has lost the beep from the shift light/ rev limit device. The light on the tacho still comes on, but no beep.

Car is in on the 5th anyway but,,,

Twiddle the **** to set the revs; leave it a few secs to let that go in, the display then reads 'On' or 'Off'; twiddle the **** to get 'On'; leave it a few secs to let that go in.

Worth noting that I used to have mine set at 6300rpm, then after the car flattened its battery when I was away for two weeks, it lost its setting. Being in numpty mode, I didn't realise until I hit the rev limiter one day in the middle of a particularly hairy overtaking manouvre

if you've touched the setting pin, I think you might have turned it off!

Also if the battery has been disconnected you will loose the settings and it will turn off the beep.
