Alarm PIN code
Apologies if this is in the wrong section.
I collected my '53 plate MY03 STi on friday
Looking through all the manuals etc I found one on operation of the CAT1 alarm. In the manual it refers to the keypad code. I have NOT been given the previous owners PIN code.
How can I find this out?
Will Subaru need to reset it for me?
Any help would be much appreciated.

if it's any help, I found the alarm code for mine (my99 though) on a blue sticker randomly stuck to a page in the instruction manual in a rather hap-hazard fashion!
took me an hour to find it when the crappy alarm keyfob was being jammed by the telephone masts in m'bro town centre and i couldn't start the car. wasn't a very entertaining end to my first day of scoobie ownership i'll tell ya!

I'll have a really good look through all the paperwork that I got with the car.
Do Subaru keep the code on a database or is it unset until the 1st owner sets it?

Mine was on a silver sticker in with the alarm info. Usually in a plastic bag.
Does n't help if the owner has changed it tho'
Edited to say - I always change mine back to the original code when I sell it.

IM keep a record.
Go back to your dealer and they will request the code from IM.
All you need to do then is prove you are who you say you are ID required.
thats it.
