just had the car serviced at my usual dealer and for some reason they picked up the pocket on the dash with a comment along the lines of "rattly dash pocket, needs replacing".

it doesnt rattle, but since i got the car the flap has never stayed up when open and seems very flimsy - are they all like this ? is it supposed to stay open ?

any tips on cleanin the (standard) exhaust chrome bits welcome while i'm here - lookin v black instead of shiny.

Fine wire wool (just where the black is) followed by cream scourer, followed by t-cut, followed by brasso.

Don't start chasing rattles in the Scoob.. it's never-ending. Turn the stereo up.
