Default young scooby owners (23ish) - Insurance

Hi,

I know there are a few younger scooby owners on here, who are you insured with & what are the premiums like?

Mine is currently insured in my dads name, but I want to change it over to my own shortly. I got an online quote from Tesco earlier in the year which was reasonable, but when I go on now its says please call for a quote?

Apparently Liverpool Victoria wont entertain anyone under 25 on a scooby, so I'm unsure where to go.

Cheers in advance.

Dean

Got my first UK Turbo at 19 (1999)

It was an N plate.

Insurance was 4.5k!!

I now have a MY02 STi, full no claims bonus. Insurance is £1,200 with Tesco.

24, garaged, C class post code (medium risk). No points.

I'm 23, insured with tesco on an sti.. pay £1600 (£250 of it is to protect 5 y ncb) (£70 of it to get the gf on) 0 pts etc..

I tried Adrian Flux & the usual but Tesco was the cheapest by far..

Still £150 cheaper than insuring an Astra GTE 16V!!

Oh & Tesco only want £10 more for the year for me to insure an R34??

Adding a woman as a named driver on the policy often reduces the premium, and if she occasionally drives it because she's a named driver it's not even fraud
